Snow Extender is enrolled and downloaded from Snow Atlas. The configurations are managed in the Snow Extender configurator. To follow the instructions on setting up the Snow Extender, go to Install Snow Extender in the Snow Atlas documentation.

Enhancements​

Adoption of Calendar Versioning

  • Effective with this release, Snow Extender will transition to Calendar Versioning. This change aligns Snow Extender with the broader Flexera product strategy and enhances control over version lifecycle management and support.

Corrections​

Improved Enrollment Token Error Logging

  • Improved logging now captures detailed error descriptions and HTTP status during enrollment, enabling faster and more accurate troubleshooting. (03028558)

Snow Extender Log Access Correction

  • An unintended change introduced in Snow Extender 2.8.0 that imposed additional access restrictions on Extender log files has been reverted, restoring access for authorized users.

XSS Protection for OData Requests

  • Resolved an issue where XSS protection blocked valid OData queries containing single quotes by refining the security guard to allow safe OData requests while maintaining XSS protection. (04912468)
