Enhancements​

Discovery Connectors
MS AD Discovery Connector: Enhancements to Aggregation Period and Site Name Support

  • Users can now configure the connector to retrieve users and devices based on a selected aggregation period.
  • The Clear Last Aggregation Period option allows users to reset the connector’s last aggregation date in the Windows registry.
  • Added support for a global site name, which was previously not supported by the connector.

MS Azure AD Discovery connector: Optimized Last Activity Data Retrieval
Optimized the existing use of the DirectoryAudit endpoint for retrieving the last activity date of users and devices. The connector now fetches only the required fields (SignInActivity, DirectoryAudit, WhenChanged), eliminating unnecessary data retrieval and addressing customer security concerns.

Support for Discovery Without Credentials

  • The connector now supports discovering users and devices without requiring a username and password. If the credential fields are left empty, discovery will be performed using the Windows logged-on credentials.

ITSM Connectors
BMC Helix ITSM Connector: Added Support for v25.4
The connector has been updated to address breaking changes introduced in the latest BMC Helix ITSM APIs, ensuring continued data export and compatibility. (04809118)

SAM Connectors
MS Intune connector: Added Validation for Phone Custom Device Configuration

  • The connector now prevents saving Phone custom device configuration rules unless Device has IMEI or Filter by OS name is enabled. An notification is shown if neither option is selected. (04516846)

MS SCCM Connector: Support for SQL Server 2022 and 2025 Edition Discovery

  • The connector now retrieves edition information for SQL Server 2022 and SQL Server 2025 installed on devices, enabling improved licensing and compliance tracking.

SIM Core
Adoption of Calendar Versioning

  • Effective with this release, SIM will transition to Calendar Versioning. This change aligns SIM with the broader Flexera product strategy and enhances control over version lifecycle management and support.

SaaS Connectors
GitHub Enterprise connector: Support for New API Endpoints

  • Support has been added for GitHub enterprise new API endpoints following the deprecation of v3 APIs. This update resolves breaking changes and ensures continued, reliable data retrieval from GitHub enterprise APIs. (04912103, 04308709)

Discovery Connectors
MS AD Discovery Connector: Resolved an issue where the device IP address function caused premature data aggregation. (03027723, 04358154)

SAM Connectors
Nutanix Acropolis Connector: Fixed an issue where the connector reported the SIM connection name as the cluster HostName. The connector now correctly reports the Cluster Hostname, ensuring accurate Nutanix cluster identification. (03047268)

SIM Core
SIM Log Access Correction: An unintended change introduced in SIM 5.13.0 that imposed additional access restrictions on SIM log files has been reverted, restoring access for authorized users.
