Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization connector: SaveRawData feature

  • The Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization connector now supports the SaveRawData feature, which enables raw API responses to be saved locally as a ZIP file during connector data aggregation.
    This capability helps customers and partners compare and validate source data against connector output. It also supports the Flexera Support, Product, and Engineering teams to enable faster troubleshooting and maintenance of connector-related issues.
    This feature is enabled through the connector’s Windows Registry settings. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to the product documentation in the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization connector guide.

VMware vSphere connector: SaveRawData feature

  • The VMware vSphere connector now supports the SaveRawData feature, which enables raw API responses to be saved locally as a ZIP file during connector data aggregation.
    This enhancement provides a controlled diagnostic capability to support advanced troubleshooting, data comparison, connector output validation, and analysis of missing or incomplete API fields. It also helps Flexera Support and Development teams investigate and resolve customer-reported connector issues more efficiently.
    This feature is enabled through the connector’s Windows Registry settings. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to the product documentation in the VMware vSphere connector guide.

Discovery Connectors

  • Discovery data from file connector: Resolved an issue where IP addresses imported through the connector could be reformatted incorrectly on systems using certain regional settings. The connector now processes IP address values independently of regional system settings, helping preserve the correct IP address format during file-based discovery data imports. (04974122)

ITSM Connectors

  • BMC Helix ITSM connector: Resolved an issue where the connector could create duplicate computer system records in the BMC Helix CMDB dataset instead of updating existing configuration items.
    With this correction, the connector now better validates data consistency during aggregation, eliminating duplicate CI records and improving CMDB data accuracy. (05003632)

SAM Connectors

  • Microsoft SCCM connector: Resolved an issue where bottom-level buttons in the connector configuration form could be hidden when using very low screen resolutions, such as 1024×768. Button visibility has been adjusted to improve usability in lower-resolution environments.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization connector: Resolved an issue where host and virtual machine IP addresses could not correctly parse from Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization API responses, resulting in missing IP address data in connector inventory files.
    IP addresses are now correctly mapped for hosts and virtual machines, supporting accurate licensing, compliance, and datacenter hierarchy representation in Snow Atlas and Snow License Manager. (04116129, 04419550)

  • Red Hat OpenShift connector: Resolved an issue where the connector could complete aggregation and retrieve raw data, but fail to create the resulting inventory files due to an internal encryption issue. Inventory files are now created correctly after aggregation, supporting reliable Snowpack generation. (04912453)

  • Red Hat OpenShift connector: Resolved an issue where the connector could fail during test connection or data collection when API responses contained null or incorrectly formatted datetime values. The connector now handles nullable datetime fields more reliably, improving stability and supporting successful OpenShift data collection. (05002891)

  • Nutanix Acropolis connector: Resolved an issue where VM IP addresses could be missing from the retrieved inventory data when the Nutanix API returned them as learned addresses. The connector now handles both assigned and learned IP address data, improving the completeness and accuracy of Nutanix inventory collection. (04933432)

  • HPUD connector: Resolved an issue where the connector could fail when processing XSF files containing multiple product entries with the same versionid, resulting in duplicate matching records and aggregation errors. The mapping logic has been corrected to target a single matching record during processing, preventing duplicate handling errors and improving data integrity. (05008528)

SaaS Connectors

  • Resolved an issue introduced in Snow Integration Manager 26.1.0 where an unintended change could cause data import errors when importing data from SaaS connectors into Snow License Manager.
    This issue affected SaaS connector integrations with Snow License Manager only and did not affect SaaS connector data flow to Snow Atlas. Customers using SaaS connectors with Snow License Manager should update to Snow Integration Manager 26.2.0 to ensure continued, reliable SaaS data import. (05004690, 05009295)

Enhancements​

Discovery Connectors
Microsoft AD Discovery connector: Enhancements to aggregation period and site name support

  • Users can now configure the connector to retrieve users and devices based on a selected aggregation period.
  • The Clear Last Aggregation Date option allows users to reset the connector’s last aggregation date in the Windows registry.
  • Added support for a global Site Name, which was previously not supported by the connector.

Microsoft AD Discovery connector: Support for discovery without credentials

  • The connector now supports discovering users and devices without requiring a username and password. If the credential fields are left empty, discovery will be performed using the Windows logged-on credentials.

Microsoft Azure AD Discovery connector: Optimized last activity data retrieval

  • Optimized the existing use of the DirectoryAudit endpoint for retrieving the last activity date of users and devices. The connector now fetches only the required fields (SignInActivity, DirectoryAudit, WhenChanged), eliminating unnecessary data retrieval and addressing customer security concerns.

BMC Helix ITSM connector: Added support for v25.4

  • The connector has been updated to address breaking changes introduced in the latest BMC Helix ITSM APIs, ensuring continued data export and compatibility. (04809118)

SAM Connectors
Microsoft Intune connector: Added validation for Phone custom device configuration

  • The connector now prevents saving Phone custom device configuration rules unless Device has IMEI or Filter by OS name is enabled. A notification is shown if neither option is selected. (04516846)

Microsoft SCCM connector: Support for SQL server 2022 and 2025 edition discovery

  • The connector now retrieves edition information for SQL Server 2022 and SQL Server 2025 installed on devices, enabling improved licensing and compliance tracking.

SIM Core
Adoption of Calendar Versioning

  • Effective with this release, Snow Integration Manager will transition to Calendar Versioning. This change aligns SIM with the broader Flexera product strategy and enhances control over version lifecycle management and support.

Branding update

  • Updated the SIM Help tab to replace the legacy Snow logo and copyright information with Flexera branding, ensuring consistency across the Flexera product portfolio.

SaaS Connectors
GitHub Enterprise connector: Support for new API endpoints

  • Support has been added for GitHub Enterprise new API endpoints following the deprecation of v3 APIs. This update resolves breaking changes and ensures continued, reliable data retrieval from GitHub enterprise APIs. (04912103, 04308709)

  • SIM log access correction: An unintended change introduced in SIM 5.13.0 that imposed additional access restrictions on SIM log files has been reverted, restoring access for authorized users.
