Upload HR Roster data
HR Roster is your organization's employee master data that provides accurate lifecycle information and helps you identify suspicious activity within your linked subscriptions and applications.
Integrating your HR Roster data in Flexera One SaaS Management on Snow Atlas ensures accurate user information, enabling subscription provisioning and deprovisioning. This reduces manual effort and prevents subscription loss. By providing reliable HR data, this feature enables efficient SaaS management and improved governance across your organization.
You can configure manual import as an HR Roster source using the existing data imports feature.
Procedure
-
In SaaS settings, navigate to Data imports > HR Roster and select Create import.
-
On the Data type step, select HR Roster from the options.
-
On the File upload step, upload a CSV file that contains the HR data.
tipSelect Download template to download a CSV template that contains all the fields supported by SaaS.
-
On the Mapping step:
-
Select the CSV fields that correspond to the relevant system fields. Unique user identifier, Email address of the user, Full name of the user, and Employment status of the user are required.
noteThe Employment status of the user field is used to map to the related charts that appear on the Users page in SaaS. However, if this field is left empty, the system automatically maps the value to the Not monitored status in the user table.
-
Optional: To map additional fields from your CSV to the supported system fields, select Add additional field.
-
Select Preview results to review the first few rows of the mapped data.
-
-
On the Confirmation step, select one of the following options:
-
To create an import configuration and set your imported data as your HR Roster source, select Yes.
-
To only create an import configuration and use the default HR data settings, select No.
tipYou can modify these settings later from the General settings page after the data is imported.
-
-
To complete the data import process, select Finish.
The imported data is populated as a new entry in the HR Roster table.
You can also manage the imported data in the table using the available actions to upload additional HR Roster data, create an API integration, and delete the existing data.
