Computers: Reference
Refer to the tables below for field descriptions when you want to view the details of a specific computer in SAM on Snow Atlas.
Overview
The Overview tab shows a summary of information related to the computer.
Applications
The Applications tab shows information on the applications installed on the computer.
| Field label | Description |
|---|---|
| Application name | The name of the application. |
| Metric | The metric describes the licensing conditions and is the unit of measure for the application. |
| First discovered | The date when the application was first discovered on the computer. |
| Last used | The date when the application was most recently run. |
| License requirement | The number of required licenses for the installed application. |
| Entitlement state | The entitlement state of the application describes to what extent a certain consumer (computer, user, or device) is covered. |
| Remarks | The remarks are used for additional information. They consist of an abbreviation with one to three capital letters. For more information, see Remarks. |
Users
The Users tab shows information on the users who have signed in to the computer.

| User name | The username of the user who has signed in to the computer. |
| Last sign-in | The date when the user most recently signed in. |
| Sign-in count | The number of times that the user has signed in. |
Hardware
The Hardware tab shows basic hardware information gathered from the computer during the inventory.
The Number of logical processors is not included when calculating the compliance.
Information
The Information tab shows general information on the computer.
Remote clients
The Remote clients tab shows information on the remote clients that have connected to the computer by using, for example, RDP or Citrix, or via a virtual desktop connection.

| Remote client | The name of the remote client. |
| Inventoried | Shows if the remote client is inventoried or not. |
| Last used | The date of the most recent connection. |
Virtual machines
The Virtual machines tab shows information on the virtual machines running on the computer.

| Computer name | The name of the virtual machine. |
| Operating system | The operating system of the virtual machine. |
| Last scanned | The date of the most recent data update. |
| Power state | Shows if the virtual machine is PoweredOn, PoweredOff, or Unknown. |
| Processors | The number of processors of the virtual machine, if inventoried. |
| Cores per processor | The number of cores per processor of the virtual machine, if inventoried. |
| Inventoried | Shows if the virtual machine is inventoried or not. |
Agreements
The Agreements tab lets you associate the computer with related agreements, such as support agreements, maintenance agreements, or other types of custom agreements.

| Agreement name | The name of the agreement. |
| Agreement type | The type of the agreement. |
| Valid from | The date from which the agreement is valid. |
| Valid to | The date to which the agreement is valid. |
Extended coverage
The Extended coverage tab lets you manage extended license coverage for applications installed on the computer.

| Computer name | The name of the computer to which license coverage is extended. |
| Application name | The name of the application with extended coverage. |
| Coverage reason | The reason for the extended license coverage. |
Custom information
The Custom information tab lets you add data that needs to be managed but does not have a pre-defined entry in SAM on Snow Atlas. For more information, see Manage custom fields.

| Custom field name | The name of the custom field. |
| Value | The value set for the custom field. |
Attachments
Links on the Attachments tab shows links related to the computer.

| URL | The URL of the link. |
| Description | A description of the link. |
| Added | The date when the link was added. |
| Last edited | The date when the link was last edited. |
Files on the Attachments tab shows manually uploaded files related to the computer.

Information in reports
You can find more information on the computer in reports. The table below shows examples of the information you can find. For more information, see Reports.
