Add or edit compliance exclusions: Reference
Refer to the tables below for field descriptions when you want to add or edit a compliance exclusion rule in SAM Core on Snow Atlas.
Exclusion details
The Exclusion details step lets you set the name of the rule and describe the reason why the rule is created.

Consumer type | The type of excluded consumer: Computer or User. (Required) |
Rule name | The name of the rule. (Required) |
Reason | The reason why the rule is created. (Required) |
Applications
The Applications step lets you select the applications to be excluded.

Application name | The name of the application. |
Application family | The product family that the application belongs to. For more information, see Application family. |
Manufacturer | The manufacturer of the application. |

Consumers
The Consumers step lets you select the consumers to be excluded.

Computer name | The name of the computer. |
Model | The computer model. |
Datacenter name | The name of the datacenter that the computer is a member of, if any. |
Organization | The organization node that the computer belongs to. |

Virtual | Shows if the computer is a virtual machine. |

Operating system | The operating system of the computer. |
BIOS serial number | The BIOS serial number of the computer. |
Exclude consumers without installations | If selected, you reduce the list of computers to only the ones that have the application installed. |
