Manage scheduled reports

Learn how to manage your scheduled reports in SAM on Snow Atlas.

View scheduled reports

  • On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

    The list of scheduled reports shows, for example, the name of the exported report, when the next export is due, and when the report was most recently exported.

    note

    Next export will be empty if the scheduling is not set to Active.
    Latest export will be empty if the scheduling has never run.

Add scheduled reports

You can schedule automatic export of the reports and have them delivered to email recipients. The exported report is sent as a compressed file (.zip).

Available file formats are CSV, PDF, XLS/XLSX, and XML.

If your report file is too large to be sent by email, it is uploaded to the Report files page instead. You will then receive an email with a link to the Report files page where you can download your report. The link is available for seven days and after that, the report file is deleted.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, select Reports.

  2. Search for the report, see Search for reports.

  3. Select Schedule.

  4. In Schedule, do the following:

    1. Optionally, change the Name and the Description of the exported report.

    2. Select File format.

    3. Select the Recurrence:

      • Daily

      • Weekly: Select also the day or days of the week.

      • Monthly: Select also the Day of the month.

      • Yearly: Select also a Month and the Day of the month.

    4. Enter the Time of the day.

    5. Enter the Email address of the recipient or recipients of the exported report.

    6. To immediately activate the scheduling, leave the Active toggle on.

      note

      You can edit this setting later. If you do not select Active at this point and then select Schedule, you will save the scheduling settings, but you will not receive any scheduled reports.

    7. Select Schedule.

Edit scheduled reports

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

  2. Select the schedule icon next to the name of the report for which you want to edit the scheduling.

  3. In Change Schedule, add or edit the applicable information, see Add scheduled reports.

  4. Select Save.

Delete scheduled reports

When you delete a scheduled report, you deactivate the report scheduling and you remove the scheduling settings.

  1. On the SAM Core menu, under Reports, select Scheduled reports.

  2. Select the delete icon next to the name of the report for which you want to delete the scheduling.

  3. Select OK to confirm.
